Brilliant service from Andrew, Martin and Dave. Having been recently stung by another dealer we were extra careful in our approach to buying another motorhome. We needn't have worried as these guys were superb from start to finish. They even fitted a brand new boiler and heater when there was an issue with the existing one during pre delivery inspection. Highly recommended them.

I bought a Swift 686 from Springfield in January this year. Being on the opposite side of the country to me I needed to ensure it was worth the long drive over. Martin at Springfield was happy to go through all the paperwork and condition over the phone, and we discussed money in advance. On making the journey it was accurately described, and was bought and collected a couple of weeks later after they did a full service including cam belt, plus the damp and habitation service.
I'd happily buy from them again. Further update, October 2019 Well it appears my experience wasn't good after all. After a few months I suspected something wasn't right and had an independent damp check completed, despite having all the paperwork from Springfield showing a damp check was done and giving a perfect bill of health. My check was done at an insurance approved major repair center.
They found extensive damp and rot issues! I submitted a claim to the warranty company MB&G which came with the motor home and because of the extent and cost of repairs they had their own assessors take a look, and confirmed the original findings. From there all parties agreed the damp was long standing and pre existing at the point of sale, so declined the warranty cover.
The conclusion is that Springfield, or at the very least one of their employees, inaccurately filled in the paperwork. I must inform that Springfield did then offer to take a look, but as they had already demonstrated a lack of honesty in the first place I have no faith in any bodge repair they would attempt. This leaves me heavily out of pocket to pay for all repairs myself.
I'm not saying don't buy from Springfield, I'm just saying from my experience not to trust what you are told. Get your own professional checks done or simply go somewhere reputable.
