My first time of buying a car from this dealer and I must say what a great experience it was. I first checked on their website for my chosen model of car, from the huge choice I decided on the car I would like to view. A phone call later the arrangement was made to get the car to my chosen site for viewing and a test drive. The sales team that I dealt with were friendly, helpful and professional throughout.
No pressure at any stage, all done at my own pace. Great valuation for my part exchange and so I am really pleased with the car I purchased from Available Car. Would wholeheartedly recommend Available Car to my friends.

Extremely poor service, purchased a car here 3 months ago. When I went to collect the car the gap insurance hadn't been sorted and I'd only have been covered a day later. Not the end of the world can live with that, but I also got told they broke an interior door panel while preparing the car I got assured I will get a call back later that week to fix that issue.
Instead I have had to keep calling them 8 times and an email chain back and forth and still I'm no closer to getting this part, although I keep getting promised someone will call me back and sort it. The cars fine and no a bad price but if you have an issues they won't help at all!

I'm only now sharing as Google asked me to review. We brought my car end of 2020 so restrictions were at the height of every shop. When we got there everything was perfect. Nice service from a female member of staff who was taking our money. We weren't allowed to test drive or anything so had to take the car on good faith and 14 days! After paying went and got in my car very excited but having never put my arse in it, I wanted to get to grips where everything was, adjust the seat and get a feel for the breaks, within seconds of getting in a member of staff rapped on the window and asked me to move because I was in the 'covid spot'. Bearing in mind there was parking spaces next to me that had been coned off.
It was purely pay and get lost, when I slowly pulled off, the member of staff and the waiting customers were all watching me like I had done something wrong. Nothing terrible but I will never go back again based on that :/

0 stars. My experience with Available Car has been shocking. The customer service prior to purchase is okay because they want your custom; having said that, I was still lied to and told that I was unable to purchase the car using my own loan/car finance and could only purchase the car using their financial partners which came with an APR of 7.9%. Once I purchased the car, the customer service was poor.
My car faulted within the initial 3 month warranty period which I booked it in for, however, due to the pandemic, there was a backlog of repair work which meant that I had to wait and they're now, 9 months later, a day before it is due to go in to be looked at again, that the dates that the car was bought in fell outside my warranty so this work will not be covered, even though I reported within well within the warranty period.
The clutch and fly wheel have needed replacing at 3 years of age and 29k miles, I presume due to the fact that most of these cars are ex-rental cars and have not been cared for. There's a loud vibrating coming from the dashboard which the mechanics were unable to diagnose. The mechanics were adamant my clutch was okay, despite numerous warnings on the dash and it continuously slipping. Eventually, and reluctantly, Available Car replaced my clutch, however, this did not come without a fight.
My car was sold to me with full service history, when it later transpired that it was missing a service and came with no proof of service history with it, I did not realise this until I had signed for the car and the finance had been agreed. This is just a small snippet of the awful customer service I have received. The only positive I can bring is that one of the customer service advisors, Eric, called regularly to update me on my cars progress. Otherwise, the rest of the customer service was terrible and I will never purchase a vehicle from them again.

Called in to get my car appraised. Was given a valuation, slightly lower than expected but it's understandable. I took the call on the Friday, said I'll get back to them. Rang on the Saturday and got put through to the call centre and told a member of the appraisal team will get back to me. Heard nothing back from them. Called again a week later to chase, was told once again a member of the appraisal team will get back to me. Wasn't the case, had to call the following day to chase.
Finally got put through to someone who offered 600 less (despite not taking my calls to push through with first valuation) and cited that the markets have changed. That may be the case however, email communications from AvailableCar cited April 1st as the day prices change. Really frustrated at the process given and will now be down 600 due to internal process failures.

Purchased a car from here which was advertised as having cruise control(which it didn't have!)and parking assistant- rear sensor. I Had to phone them to arrange the rear sensors to be fitted as the car didn't have them as advertised. I then went to collect the car and spoke to a manager to try and resolve the problem with the cruise control which he stated the car wasn't specified with cruise control and he then went on to say this wasn't the first time they had advertised a car with features in didn't have! I am shocked and saddened that this wasn't the first time it had happened and that it was still happening!

Be very aware the description on the website can be wrong.! Saw car I liked.trusted the description on the website.liked the car. Agreed to purchase it but asked for some scratches to be done. Turns out there wasn't cruise control as stated on the site or tyre pressure monitoring.also stated on the site. I didn't realise until I'd done the bank transfer.
I rang up 3 times today as due to collect it. Was told scratches were done and That it doesn't have cruise control.on arrival to collect I then asked about the tyre monitoring and found this wasn't on either. I asked if they'd be willing to make a small gesture. The so called "customer relations" person Nick was most curt and said in small print at the end of the website it says that things might be incorrect.
I asked for a small gesture.like some petrol in the car as the petrol light is on. He said no. I'd paid in full for this car. My documents all sorted, insurance etc. He got me upset as was arguing in the store. He said when I viewed the car yesterday it was up to me to make sure every specification was correct.sorry. I didn't know. I've not bought a car since 2013.
I expect the description to be correct. I said I could change my mind about my purchase. He didn't care. He was willing to lose my sale which I'd paid for in full rather than to even just put some petrol in. I got upset and went off to the ladies. The scratches did not appear to have been done either. I was on my own.a woman and felt very uncomfortable.not nice.
On my return another member of staff said they'd agreed to let me have 50 off.at least it's something but it ruined the experience. I've looked for a car for over a year. Had a bad experience somewhere else and now here. The guy who did test drive was fine. Friendly. Steve. Sale guy. Alex spent too long questioning me about extra warranties etc. I had to say I can't afford it.he said how can you afford not to.
He didn't go over the specifications and I didn't realise I had to check every detail. There was no sheet in the car with details on and I wasn't shown them. ** on further looking in the details, book etc the site also stated the car has speed restricter.which is doesn't and tyre repair kit.it actually has space saver wheel. I'm not the only one saying similar.shame they don't value people more.

Another great experience at Available car today, took my nephew to buy his first car after passing his test last week. Terry made him feel really comfortable after seeing he was clearly nervous at the prospect of choosing and test driving his choices. Great customer service as always he talked us through every step and made sure we purchased a car to suit his needs without being pushy. Cant wait to go back next week to collect the car. Great job from everyone involved

Absolutely rip-off and dishonest. When you buy from them they give you a big smile and warm welcome, but when you return the vehicle and want to exercise you right under their 14 day money back guarantee they give you a big headache. They find any excuses not to accept the return of the vehicle and make you pay for any invisible dents or scratches that already existed when I bought the vehicle as a punishment.
I had to pay 150 for a dent that was there when I purchased the vehicle I had to wait over 4 weeks to get my full money back, they ignored my emails and phone calls and only issued a refund after sending a threatening email to start legal action. I will never buy or recommend this dealer to anyone.

Not bad an experience overall, but they were adamant that 6,400 was the most they could give me in part-ex for my Astra, they refused to budge on the price, and now (after some minor work being done to it but not that much) it's for sale on their website at 9,499. They have not even got the advert correct, they've put cloth interior when it's leather, which makes me wonder how accurate their valuation was - was the valuation of 6,400 for the equivalent car with cloth interior?.Probably.

Well pleased with this place, had a few cars from here even the wife and even took my Dad to get his from here a few months back. You can enjoy a free hot refreshments from the vending machine, whilst casually walking around looking in at least 95% of the cars, there's no pressure to buy and if you like one you can take it or them for a test drive, with still no pressure to buy.
If you need help You go to them they don't jump on you it's window shopping the way us brits like to do it, if you get my drift? Fully enjoy going there relaxed friendly atmosphere.

Had an okay experience with AvailableCar. After numerous issues (one of which is still unresolved), we've finally come to a point where I am happy with the car. I've purchased a Nissan Qashqai 2015 from AvailableCar and ended up having going back and forward with it due to a sensor fault. AvailableCar failed to diagnose the issue properly which resulted in my grandad taking it to Bristol Street Motors Nissan Derby for a health check, where they found that the system was missing an update - an update which fixed the sensor fault that took AvailableCar weeks to attempt to fix. AvailableCar did reimburse us for the cost of the health check which with no issues at all. I would purchase here again but I would look out for the things I missed when I purchased my car back in 2019.

Possibly the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a car dealership. Contacted regarding a car that was for sale within my desired budget, price and car details confirmed over the phone where I then proceeded to place a deposit on the car. From then on it was all down hill, contacted on the Friday, where I was told the car had just come into stock so it would be the next Friday that it would be ready to collect.
No communication or correspondence after that, where then the Price of the car was INCREASED BY 2,400 without my knowledge. So eventually 2 days before I was travelling down, flight and accommodation paid for I got an email with the balance I had to pay minus the deposit, which was 2,400 more than I had seen the car advertised for and paid a deposit against. Contacted the dealership and they denied that the car was ever at the lower price, until I sent them a screenshot of the car, where I was then told the car had VAT to be applied on it.
I was told by the sales supervisor and also the dealership general manager that it was an error on their behalf and would take 400 off the car price. How does this work? 1 day before I'm supposed to be travelling down from 270miles to collect my car I need to find another 2400! I told them I was now out of pocket as I had paid for a flight to come down to collect the car and they weren't interested at all.
So because of their mistake i am out of pocket and without a car now and they are not interested in doing anything about it. Absolute Shambles, it's funny how their mistake and the customer has to suffer the consequences.

Great service, great prices! Got a bargain after popping down on the off chance. When collecting the car, there were a few small problems with getting round to speaking with someone, and it did take much longer than I would have expected, but I will put that down to it being a busy day Overall though, a great, hassle free experience.
