We had caravans over the last 20years but decided to invest in a motorhome. After a lot of searching with various dealers we decided on a secondhand Autosleeper and found one at Derby. Very impressive set up as the showroom is inside so very comfortable to browse. Very knowledgable sales staff and the after sales is second to none. Comprehensive hand over procedure too. We will certainly recommend them to anyone and would go back at a later date for another purchase.

Visited the show room to look at options but we're faced with an unwelcoming, negative and unfriendly showroom salesman with poor interpersonal skills. We were faced with all the reasons why we would struggle to find a suitable vehicle and felt he didn't want us to look around the campers on display. Bought a used Nuevo camper at top money from here two years ago. Noticed a gas leak from the gas tank to pipe connection last Thursday, making it unusable. Told no service slots until mid September. Summer gone! Phoned around and found excellent mobile service specialising in gas fixtures. Fitted me in today and replaced tank to regulator gas pipe in an hour, now all good to go again. Would not buy another van from Derby Motorhomes

As a gas engineer was working hard for many years to safe enough to buy a motohome in 2021 for my lovely family. Went to this place and faced "Tim Kimbell" who presented himself as being in charge of this establishment. In first two minutes he showed to be aggressive, very unfriendly and rude to a potential customer. Bless him, I'll find my sleeper in other place.

We are really pleased with the service we had at Derby Motorhomes. Richard is probably the best motor salesperson we have ever encountered. He is not pushy in any way and his helpful approach, at the NEC show and also in the showroom, persuaded us to make a purchase. Our handover session with Daniel was excellent.

Visited in February and spent sometime deciding on which model to go for, wanted an automatic so there was a 6 month wait. Found a 6 month old auto at another dealer so decided to go fir used one to save wait, 8 moths later decided the van wasn't for me and have decided to change to a different layout. Visited derby again and looked at the range. Went away with prices for 2 models and told to come back if we received a better price. 2 weeks later received a rude phone call from derby and I informed them I was going to come back that day and discuss prices as I had received a better one.
We went that afternoon and were greeted with a rude greeting of have you got your price in writing. I replied no I was told they will not do anything then. I replied fine I will go back to other dealer. He asked if we wanted to look at the model I had discussed with him to check a measurement. So I said yes. We went to the Model checked the size then the manager came up and asked did we need any help I replied no it's ok we are jusT looking.
He then said you were the ones that wanted the kingham and you went elsewhere and purchased. You cane here and Richard spent a lot of time with you and then you purchased from elsewhere. I infiorned him we purchased a used one to save the wait. He kept going on about the time they had wasted and now we are wasting their time again. Well I'm sorry we are spending 60k.
We were made to feel humiliated and as though we were time wasters. Well we left and placed our order by phone to smc Newark. You really need to learn so respect for your customers. We will not visit you again and waste your precious time and will make sure friends also do not waste your time, btw stop ringing me and wasting my time. Very rude people. I suggest anybody looking for autosleeper go elsewhere or you too will end up being humiliated by Tim's customer service skills
