We met Dave at Penny Lane motors after a very bad experience. Dave was open and honest about the motors and didn't put any pressure on for a sale. We were very weary about buying a new car after being blagged on our previous one so it was a big deal trusting another car dealer! He however came across as very genuine and helpful. We looked around at different dealers nothing compared to the deal we got from Dave at penny lane motors the car we bought is a 14 plate but looks & feels like a brand new car inside & out thank you to the man there who was cleaning it, we would highly recommend penny lane motors to anyone looking to buy a used car 10 out of 10 for service no pushy sales person as we found in other dealerships we went to! I had an issue with a blown bulb that I had missed when trying to understand what my on board computer was telling me. On popping in to see Jeff for a bit of advice, in a matter of minutes, he had me into nearby garage an the issue resolved. Bought my wife a Corsa from Jeff and Dave and can honestly say what a delightful experience it was. I hate going to buy cars normally but I was just relieved to be left to my own devices and make my own mind up rather than be bullied into buying something that I didn't really want! I'd been to see four different cars and in each place not a single one was described correctly in their ads various bits of body damage, bits broken, services missing.
The car here was as good as they get for a six year old car and I really did get the impression that they do genuinely care about their cars and customers. Plus it was the only one that give a full years parts and labour warranty at no extra cost. The others were between 3 and 6 months one was only very basic 3 months engine and gearbox ( is that legal?) Any a final thanks to Dave for repairing the wheel after kerbing it after only 2 days! Don't tell the wife!
