When you take delivery of your new Ford, you receive a comprehensive warranty to ensure you enjoy confident motoring. To begin with, your Ford warranty covers you for one year with unlimited mileage. Explained all of the options available to me then guided me through the process of applying for finance and now I have a beautiful car that I am beyond happy with. I don't normally write positive reviews. I have been known to leave poor ones in the past, and have even reverted to social media to get the attention of my previous dealership, but this review is extremely positive. I have used Chipping Sodbury Motor Company for some years now, and I cannot fault them. My wife and my mother in law have both purchased from them in the past and have regular services from them.
Their staff are always timely and friendly, and their premises are clean and comfortable. I recently parted company with my premium brand car owing to horrendous customer service. The service I have received in the past with previous vehicles took me back to Chipping Sodbury, and my latest purchase, a nearly new Audi, was everything I could have wished for and more.
The car was prepared and checked for me prior to driving away, and the company have checked that I am happy with everything since. This is the kind of service I would expect from any car dealership, but this one far exceeds the experience I received with 2 franchises of my past brand, both in London and local to Bristol. Thank you Chipping Sodbury Motor Company. Keep up the exemplary work. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone.

By the looks of the reviews this place already has. there's not much more I can say. However when you take your car for a service you don't expect to see oil all over the drive the next day. After ford admitting fault all they want to do Is offer cheaper future services yeah like you'd want to take your car back there again! Absolutely disgusting attitude from the mechanic who did the service and admitted it was his fault. No apology and very rude. DO NOT RECCOMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL

DO NOT TRUST THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT - Especially Richard Tucker. Through our own investigation we managed to prevent them from totally ripping us off. Over 500 taken as "deposit" for parts which we advised we no longer needed. To then be told we could not have our moneys back as we signed to say we read their terms & conditions. BE CAREFUL as these are printed on the board on the wall and at no point did anyone point out where they were or that we had to read them, just shoved a bit of paper and told to sign for order. Tried fobbing us off stating they unable to give us the suppliers phone number of the parts.
Found it ourselves and upon speaking with the amazing Robins & Day parts department who told us they would easily accept the return and happily refund us in full. After nearly 20 emails between us Mr Tucker stated they had to wait 30 days before contacting Robins & Day direct. Again after contacting Robins & Day ourselves we obtained evidence of the refund credited of which Mr Tucker STILL tried to delay.
We had to keep hounding them but eventually we obtained our refund. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING without reading terms first. Total rip off and fob off and quite frankly rude customer service. NEVER USING THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN!

We paid 16,000 for a Volvo XC40 in September. On test drive it had an oil light overflow/service warning on dashboard. I was told it would be reset when it was serviced prior to picking it up. After arranging pickup lo and behold the oil light came back on. Took car back and the technician couldn't find the problem. I then took it to volvo for inspection and it turned out 3 litres of excessive oil was drained out of engine.
In trying to sort out warranty terms this company isn't interested despite repeated calls. After service has been terrible once they have your money. Not what you would expect from a supposed professional dealer. Hindsight I should of left car with them and got my money back. You have been warned.

Excellent garage and very professional. Organised and meticulous. Covid protocols were also strictly in line and rightly so. When I booked and turned up for a test drive, the car was setup and ready to drive, unlike many garages you go to, "oh, let me just get that car out from the back for you! " I bought the car and very happy with it. I'm sure their whole team is professional, but ask for James, he is outstanding!
Well spoken, knows how to approach people and has excellent communication skills without being a sales person! Best car sales experience I've ever gone through without a doubt! I Highly recommend Chipping Sodbury Motor Company as well as James.

Disappointed. Smooth initial sale. 9 weeks later battery totally flat and not holding any charge. Battery is not covered by 3 month warranty. Was offered a small amount off the cost of a replacement (still more than I ended up paying to get sorted elsewhere). Warranty or not, I don't feel it is unreasonable to expect a car I paid nearly 16000 for to not break 9 weeks later and need more money spending on it.
Have to say my only comparable experiences in the past where I've been 'out of warranty', but arguably on the right side of the situation, the garage/company involved have stepped up. Not here though.so, disappointed.

Fab all round - salesperson gave us lots of helpful information and recommendations about a few different models, allowing us plenty of time to look at each car without feeling any sort of pressure. Went out for a test drive (following their recommended route of hills, twists, and junctions) and was then able to sort the paperwork ready to pick up a few days later. Excellent Covid precautions as well!

I part exchanged my car last week, I must say Justin was very helpful and sorted everything out as promised. My husband has also bought a car from CSY motors and was very pleased with the service and Justin's help. Services have always been carried out with no fuss and I have had no problems when they have picked the car up from home. I can't fault them. Thankyou, and I love my new car.

220 to have a single front coil spring replacement! I don't know if this place is trying to claw money back from covid losses or taking advantage of it or if they are just trying to put people off having work done with them! In all my 35 years of adulthood I have never heard of such a price for a single spring and I spent my first 5 years out of school training as a vehicle technician! Will never take a vehicle to this place and would not recommend it to anyone (unless you have a large bag of money you don't care about)

Absolute appalling customer service, ongoing complaint which is lasting a good two months now. Car had to be taken back into workshop 4 times to fix they damage THEY HAD CAUSED from recall works which was a dent and scratches to my drivers door which could have been easily fixed but just kept giving me excuses. Tried to take it to Fords head office but they don't deal with franchises which is disappointing for them as it has given them a bad name in my personal opinion. Never been treated like this as a customer! Do NOT recommend.

Customer service is very poor, some staff don't know what their doing. Quick to contact you to get money out of you, service etc. Ford warranty is not worth the paper it's on. Suppose to be 3 year trouble free motoring, ha what a joke, had nothing but problems, from just under 2mths of having car, they will stall, not return phone calls, say they'll call and don't. Make sure you give any car you are thinking of buying a very close inspection!
