I was very disappointed with my dealings with Richard. I tested a car which I liked and paid a cash deposit. A few days later he phoned me to say he found he needed to replace a part on the car which was going to be expensive, and asked me for a considerable sum extra for the car. As far as I am concerned, once one agrees a price and shakes hands on it - which he subsequently denied doing - that is a deal.

It is up to the car dealer to check out the car before making a decision on the sale price. I refused to pay more and reclaimed my deposit, which he did reimburse. I was very surprised that someone so local to me, who claims to have a good reputation in the area, would behave in such a manner.

Bought a Polo for my sons. Excellent car. And so refreshing to receive a helpful and honest service. Will definitely go back for our next car. Highly recommend.

This is the 3rd car our family have bought from RDC, which says it all. Competitive and fair prices and accommodating with part exchange. A straight and honest trader - the family will be back. Thank you Richard.

Just took delivery of a VW Golf from Richard, the car was in showroom condition, he went over the car with a fine tooth comb prior to delivery, serviced the car including cam belt and water pump, MOT'ed the car, done all the advisories, would definitely recommend RDC car sales.

Bought a ford focus recently from Richard very pleased with the car had a problem with aircon not working which wasn't covered under the warranty but Richard still tried to fix it himself unfortunately he couldn't but at least he tried when he could of just said sorry its not covered. Its my 3rd car I've bought from Richard all been good cars.

I got my VW Passat from RDC car sales back in November and have been so please with it as a family car. No one enjoys the process of buying a car but Richard at RDC was very friendly, helpful and made the process easy. I recently purchased an 11 plate Vauxhall Astra from RDC Car Sales. The car was in really good condition and was very clean inside and out. The service I received was very good and I would recommend RDC to everyone.

Having purchased vehicle there was problem after problem including rear axle which needed to be replaced and a local garage I took it too regarding the brakes informed me this vehicle is NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE due to the brakes and axle, my life was put inn danger buying this un-roadworthy vehicle The front drivers wheel needed to be replaced as this was so rusted it caused a puncture twice and a local tyre firm said this should is one of the worse we've seen. Having taken it back for these works I was then charged 100 towards the axle replacement which took a further 2 months for them to sort out. Problems - Brakes, axle, Front wheel nut, Front wheel replaced, 4 new tyres, There website states 'Quality used cars' that's is clearly a joke! and more worryingly there are other people who have had big problems with there cars from them.
