At the changeover from Rover to Vauxhall June 8th 1989. Poor quality due to reproduction from a newspaper , but it shows all 9 of our staff with the directors. A far cry from the 100 or so staff currently employed between three sites - and still growing....

I took my car in around minutes past 09:00hr. The fellow at reception was professional and friendly. Good. However when I didn't hear anything around 15:00 hr called up the garage for an update and was informed that my car is in a queue. Ok fair enough. I called again past around 16:30 hr and was told it was taken for a test drive! disappointedly was told to hang and was passed to speak to a service manager.
When the awful Service manager came on the phone she said my car was plugged in and could take an hour! She is the most patronising and unprofessional person I have had the misfortune to come across. I have had cars for 30 years and has not ever had such a patronising pompous person speak to me like that. I would not accept it as she wouldn't listen and repeated that she was the service manager.
Please send her on some customer service training as she needs to listen more. Unpleasant person and I would not want to repeat ever having to communicate with her. The AC is working at the moment She wouldn't listen and had no manners.

Just had my car 'Full service' at Fox Garage, I had decided to try a local business. They 'completed' a service but had 'forgotten' the original fault it went in for. I received the usual garage call where they try to push other things to boost the bill. Sadly this is more like conveyor belt service, cars in cars out take the money. They do not test drive vehicles.
After driving the vehicle home the only noticeable difference is they topped up the screen wash. I was left with an overwhelming feeling of why did I bother? Next time I will try to find a garage that actually takes an interest in the work, not this one.

Amazing service from these guys. Had a new ball joint and arm fitted on the front suspension. Gearbox oil refilled and had the car collected for the works. Great quality work, very quick turnaround and very friendly and professional. I can't recommend these guys enough. Brilliant! Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change, Wheel alignment

Such a poor customer service. Never experienced this kind of carelessness from anyone so far. Everyone gave me a different answer, I booked my car in for a full service, one woman said to me they have done a 36 point check, the other woman said 72 points check, so I'm still wondering who was telling me the truth. The lady who was supposed to come back to me with an answer never rang me back and I'm still confused as to what they actually checked on my car. I paid a fortune and expect some kind of professional attitude but to my surprise they are just not bothered. Not using them again for any kind of services. Horrible!

I just wanted to share my yearly visit experience at Fox Garage with you all. Every year I take my pride and joy to them for its annual service and MOT. Every year I experience the same professional, perfect and outstanding service, I literally can not fault anything about this garage. Care and attention is always given, nothing is to much trouble, I can honestly say I won't ever use another garage other than Fox Garage.well unless I move far away .
I hope the staff never leave, I've read other reviews about Fox Garage, some have moaned about the staff but in the years I've dealt with them they have all been superb. Kerri on Reception is absolutely brilliant, friendly, efficient and always SO professional. Kelvin on Service Reception again truly outstanding, he calls to talk you through what your car requires, never pushy, explains everything in detail, talks through the different options and he is so professional. Mike who runs the company is absolutely brilliant, fantastic people person, listens to his customers and quite obviously is proud that he runs such a successful business.
So to sum up if you're wanting your car MOTd or work carried out take your car to Fox Garage. As in previous reviews I've written I am literally the fussiest man on the planet when it comes to my car . Cheers Geoff

The guys at Fox are brilliant and incredibly professional. I have been able to rely on them on multiple occassions always with great results done very effectively. Incredibly empathetic team who are great at getting the job done. Most recently had some belts swapped which were on their way out. Super quick and reasonably priced. I feel comfortable using this service as a female and knowing they will not overcharge or try to fool me into getting anything unnecessary done which is a massive plus for me, I've never had to second guess their sincerity.

Full details below, but long story short: unreliable service from reception (they're all smiles, however they couldn't care less) and also from older guy who calls people to let them know about their cars. Also, was meant to get a call from their manager to explain my situation, never got anything. You guys lost 2 customers (my partner and myself). Went there on my only day off for some part in my car which, according to them, it's almost giving away. Took the car before 9am as requested.
Later that day, one of them (sounded like an older gentleman), calls me saying that they've got the wrong part, the job won't be done until the next day. He suggested that I'd pick up the car and take it again to them next day. I explained I live 20min, I couldn't do that, and I needed the car in the afternoon that next day, as I had to go to work and asked if could it be done by 12pm next day.
The guy said fine, don't worry. Got there the next day at 12pm, car isn't ready as the part didn't arrive yet (they could've found a way, I'm Sure. They just don't care), no one called me saying that (even though we agreed to be ready 12pm). I find out the guy to whom I spoke with is at the dentist, and he knew he'd be at the dentist and STILL assured me it'd be ready at 12pm.
The receptionist gave me my keys, couldn't care less about the situation and had the ignorance of asking me "when do you want to bring you car back in". I was livid. When expressing my dissatisfaction, she literally lied and said a manager would call me. She just gave me my keys, told me were my car was, I get there and my car is blocked by 4 other cars, she didn't even checked if I could leave.
The young mechanics there are nice but reception and that guy on the phone ruin the whole thing. Made me lose my time AND my partner's not to mention petrol (in their head, petrol is probably free). They just lost 2 customers.

Back at in April 2021 I had my VW T5 California Serviced and MOT'd. During which the rear tyres were renewed. Just recently August 2021 I discovered that the wrong tyres had been fitted, not obvious but in particular the load rating was incorrect. So some 4 months later I asked to speak to the Manager Tom Vero but was unable to be contacted at the time. Tom phoned me back and listened to my discovery.
There was no negative push back Tom just listened digested and agreed with the findings and arranged for a driver to pick up my van the next morning and it was returned that day with the correct tyres fitted. You only really find out how good a company is when something goes wrong and how they handle it - Professionally dealt with - 5 star service.

Despite me dropping off my car late, the team at the garage went out of their way to service it and subsequently caught a number of issues before they caused any safety concerns. Got a very polite phone call and clear explanation before work commenced. Car drives like new and price was very reasonable for all of the work. Overall a very professional service!
