Went on the off chance to view a car on Saturday due to nobody getting back to me about an appointment. needless to say the car that looked all good on the listing was actually in poor condition. The sales man who we had been waiting for instantly took priority over a customer who had just walked in, however we waited to be seen. After informing the sales man that even though the car we had come to see was in an unsalable condition, we had seen something else that could be a potential purchase.
Due to his lack of interest in us and the reluctantly to offer a test drive we shortly left. I would like to add for whoever looks over these reviews that later that day we spent 15000 ( 4000 over what we had agreed)with a dealer who took the time and effort.

I have been using the Garage for several years Including bought couple of cars from there; This is a place where you can trust and rely on the customer service and mechanical expertise, they never try to rip you off with any unwanted services and I can leave my car with a peace of mind. I had heard good things about Buckingham and they didn't disappoint. Bill was extremely helpful, great to deal with and I didn't feel under pressure at all as a single female. Excellent customer service and a call a week later to make sure I was still happy with the vehicle. I couldn't fault them at all. I would definitely recommend them.

Having purchased an Audi from Billy at Buckingham's my wife and I found the experience a really positive one. We were given time to look round the car, take it for a test drive and make a decision. Billy was there to give all the answers to our questions, present the history and documents and he was happy to fix a couple of things we noticed on the car before we took delivery. There was no pressure in the process at all. A pleasure to do business with, thanks Billy and the team.

Okay. I've had my car and month now and all good so I'm ready to leave a review. My bought a VW Touran and put my well loved car in part-ex. I was only changing my car for a stronger tow car. They honoured the price offered for my car. My new one was clean and so far so good. Billy was great to do business with. Would recommend.

As a treat for my wife, I was tasked with finding the perfect car for her. This came with its own problems as the car she wanted (Audi A5 convertible) was a rare car to find in the colour and spec she required. I found a few online but Buckingham VW AUDI had the perfect one. By perfect I mean, I could trust the car. Its condition was great and any questions I had could be answered very quickly and easily without any fluffing. I.E Service History, condition of leather.
If they was no mention of a feature in the car description, it meant that the car didn't have it. very comprehensive descriptions. I spoke with Billy who must have been completely overrun given that he was one of the few working during Covid. Never the less he was a great representation of what I believe this company to stand for and is honest, to the point and doesn't unnecessarily try to oversell the vehicle.
This means a pleasant buying experience overall with honest feedback and suggestions. I personally change cars multiple times a year and have experienced many car dealerships. This one I can honestly say I would return to without any hesitation.

I bought a pre-owned car from Bill a month ago. I want to share my experience so far. Buying car; the car was exactly the same as what Bill told on the phone. I tested the car and bought it. It had been a smooth process from the first minute. At that time, Bill gave me some advice about my previous car as well, which he does not need to do, and helped me a lot.
The first month; I was enjoying the car but after the first-month had a coolant leakage problem. I called the office. That moment was I noticed making the right choice of buying a vehicle from Buckingham vw -audi. They gave me an appointment and ordered the necessary replacement part from Germany. I needed the car at that time, and they offered me a temporary car if I am not feeling safe to drive it.
They solve the problem in the second appointment(in 5 days). They have fantastic service, friendly team and environment. I advise them to all my friends without any hesitation and will be back again for my second car.

The car bought was mostly ok bar the garish colour. Concerns were raised when the salesman advised us to dismiss VWs recommended timing belt change interval, to base it only on miles despite the car being overdue on time. Next I was assured, at my request, that the v5 would be urgently sent off on purchase. I found out by chance, it was sent a week later meaning delay over Christmas.
Concern peaked when the salesperson looked me in the eye to confirm the front tyres were brand new, making a point of leaving the office to check them. They weren't brand new at all but part worn. These are indisputable facts that we never received any explanation for despite requesting it. Attempts after to contact the sales team were ignored, as for the Manager - all evidence by email.
The always unavailable Manager then went on long term sick coincidently, so no explanation was provided for the appalling deceptions. They've no other managerial staff - so Buckinghams is in essence unaccountable at will.

I have to say this has to be the WORSE garage by miles anywhere around Surrey! You are better off buying anywhere else! I do really mean it! Their cars are full of damages, tyres are gone, electrics might work, dents, and all sorts of damage! I got in there and was assured that the Audi which I bought (really wish I didn't buy now) was going to get the spare key (didn't start engine), broken rear light, the gear leaver, and the smell of sick sorted if I went ahead and bought it.
Now, 3 months down the road and numerous trips (including one which left an epic dent on drivers door which took them a good level of dispute to get sorted) and days off work wasted I was told and closely assaulted by Mr.
Bill Gallon and his family who owns the garage that none of what was agreed was going to get done, had to spent J300 for a professional cleaning of interior, J480 with new seats and door cards, J150 on a new gear leaver, J80 on new rear light and still to get a quote for the dodgy spare key that I have been sold. I really hope people come across this review and don't ever dare to buy or service their car at that garage! You will end up with a very bad quality motor or damaged if left to have any service done!

Although they are friendly and helpful when making a sale, if you have any problems don't expect much support. They are suddenly too busy to talk (I was put on hold 6 times when he dealt with more important issues!) and the owner makes it clear he will not do anything to help if it affects his profit despite what it may cost you. Also beware of what they say about their cars, the descriptions are not always correct and the owner dismisses the sale of goods act.

Avoid at all costs. I recently purchased a high mileage vehicle from this company. The minor faults were to be expected, but the multiple serious engine problems were not. The dealership have failed on two occasions to properly address the faults, and have a policy of ignoring me for weeks on end to hope I will go away. Having offered a refund after the car first had problems, they are now refusing to give one. I am currently considering legal action.
