L&P Motors was established in 1948 by Mr J. L. Longhorn & Mr F. W. Peterson. In those days we supplied coal to the local community, ran luxury coaches to many popular holiday destinations in Northern England and carried out repairs on cars, vans and lorries. In 1957 we were appointed Austin Dealers in Hartlepool & held the franchise as Rover for 33 years. We now specialise in affordable quality used cars covering most popular makes and models.

Just picked up my new car from Bristol Street Hartlepool. Fantasic service. Dealership was first class, supporting me fully through the process of trade in and the purchase of a new vehicle. Glen Horn overseen every aspect of the deal keeping me fully updated at all times. I can't speak highly enough, A+ experience. I would definitely recommend and will certainly use again in the future.

Was looked after by Jonny when purchasing my new Peugeot 208. He was very attentive and great at explaining everything to me (someone who doesn't know much about cars). Also had something I wanted seeing to a week after purchasing and this was sorted straightaway. I would definitely recommend the garage to anyone looking at purchasing a used or new car.

Amazing service! Purchased a car from here last month from Brad and Alan and i have had an amazing experience. Absolutely amazing customer service and nothing was too much trouble. They even sent me an email a week after purchasing the car telling me that they hope I am enjoying my new car. It didn't feel like it was just business, they genuinely care about you as a customer. 10/10!
