Amazing, a main dealership that doesn't try and rip you off! I never thought I'd see the day. Greeted pleasantly by some one I met a year ago when we collected our car, he remembered us and our Ford Ranger, service desk receptionists were really helpful, and have gone out of their way to help with the issues we had with our car. We are now talking about going back to them when we upgrade our current model. Thank you so much.

I took my 4 years old vehicle to be serviced and my horn was not working. They seemed great when they were able to fit my car in the next day. I was then notified that the brake pads and discs needed replacing. This effectively doubled the amount I would be spending. I did enquire about the need for this and was told the wear was excessive. This led me to believe that if not done my vehicle would be unsafe.

I was then informed that I could have the service and horn and leave the brakes. I was concerned about this contradiction. My hubby went to collect the car and asked to see the brake pads and discs removed. He looked at them and noticed that there was minor groves in the discs with worn pads. Note the pads had not completely worn down. The pads could have been changed without the need for new discs but this was never an option given.

To add insult to this I had earlier this year taken my fobs to have the battery changed with them and a notification in the vehicle said the the battery was low. It was only when I pointed this out that they did not charge for the obviously defective/old battery they had fitted earlier this year. They have now lost a customer for life. I will never buy my next vehicle from them or have any more work done by them due to the questionable integrity of the dealership. I would warn anyone to question the level of work needed on their vehicle.

Very disappointing company, shocking after sales support. Serious issue not disclosed at point of sale that voided the remainder of ford warranty vehicle was sold with.

Pertwee & Back have been a customer of ours (IMS Technology) for over 10 years. We find them to be a very professional outfit, & I was made to feel very welcome when I visited the site in July to install a new hosted voice system. Possibly the most polite dealership I have ever visited.

Brought my Motability car in for it's first year service today, was informed last week that if it was there for 8:15am it would be the first car & would be dealt with quickly if I would like to wait. Yes I was there for 8:15 & yes I waited, and waited, and waited over 2 hours later I went to the reception desk & asked how much longer my wait would be, without any comment the receptionist stood up and walked away, I am left standing not knowing what was happening, she then reappeared and handed me a plastic bag with my car key in.

No apology no comment no kiss my. nothing. To say I was not impressed would be an understatement. The emailed car report is completed with a time of 9:00am. Will go elsewhere in future if this is the 'best customer service they can offer!

Used Pertwee and Back for 3 years now (since moving here in 2017) and I have found they always provide a comprehensive and thorough service package. As a main dealer they are not the cheapest but I'm keen to ensure extended warranty conditions are full adhered to so for me it's a cost worth paying for the extra peace of mind.
