Wallis & Son Ltd. was formed in 1937 and was based at Chesterton Road, Cambridge. We have been selling and servicing cars from our sites in Cambridge, Newmarket and now Barton near Cambridge for over 65 years. We have had agencies for Riley, Austin, Citroen, Vauxhall, Rover, Land-Rover, Triumph, Jaguar/Daimler, Rolls Royce/Bentley and Lancia. Nigel Wallis the founder's grandson and his son Elliot Wallis currently run the business.

4mm toughened (tempered) safety glass E43R - 00320 DOT6. European Commission Directive 2001/92/EC, Regulation No 43 of the UN/ECE - we put safety standards first. Light-reflecting, glare reducing and heat-absorbing glass - especially important when touring hot countries. High quality factory-prepared dark tint - NOT an attached film which can be scratched or peeled off. The specialist silicone bonding adhesive we supply can tolerate a wide temperature range of minus 40 to plus 90 degrees centigrade.

I have been a client for nearly 5 years (and I have brought my Mini Countryman many times for punctures and services) and every time the staff at Wallis and Son garage (servicing) have been incredibly polite, helpful, and kind. I wouldn't go to any other garage to get my car fixed. They value their clients and are honest and realistic about any issues that arise. 100% recommend!

I made the difficult decision to confide my DB7 Vantage to this garage, based on their reviews and work done to refurbish a BMW X5 4.6is engine some years ago. I was glad I did. Good service and comms. The Vantage is running very sweetly. Pricing reasonable, not cheap, but I feel the team was committed to getting things right. That's the way things should be - cheap can be expensive. I fully endorse Wallis and Son Ltd.

Great Service. I called the garage last weekend to check if they had any fuel. The lady who answered the phone said yes & to come over. I had told her that I worked for the nhs and when I arrived they ensured I got fuel to get to work. I would like to make a special mention to Brian & Sharon who I felt went above & beyond. Sent our car for a service in 2020, felt it was expensive. Spoke to some locals, showed them the invoice and what was done. They confirmed how we felt. Approached Wallis & Son again for a quote, mentioned perhaps getting a better deal this time as we felt it was expensive. We wanted to continue using them as they are local and convenient. Terrible service, had to email 3 times, and call.
They quoted 200 more than Mercedes Benz, and the person delivering the quote verbally over the phone - Ian, came across as very unfriendly and almost irritated. You've just lost another customer.

I used Wallis and Son for the first time as we have just moved locally. I was very impressed with their service. They are so helpful and extremely clear in explaining what needed to be done. I did not have to worry about how long it took as they offered me a courtesy car. Then rang me when my car was finished. When I got to the garage to pick it up it was lovely and clean what a bonus.
I will definitely be using them again. Thank you all so much. What a change to feel that my custom was really appreciated. See you again when you let me know when my next service is due! I'll be back!

I hired the Aston Martin DB9 convertible as a surprise for my husband for a 2 night getaway. The staff at Wallis were very professional and extremely helpful upon booking. The car was delivered to my house and the surprised look at my Husband's face was a picture. He was speechless. The car was immaculate and looked stunning pulling up to the house. Brian was so helpful and very thorough showing me around the car and answered all my questions.
He didn't rush me and made me feel at ease as I was the one driving the car, I was a little excited. and nervous! The car was an absolute dream to drive and comfortable too. I loved every minute of the experience and one I'll never forget. From the booking process to returning the car at the end I could not fault the service from Wallis and my overall experience was just perfect. I'm already looking forward to hiring another prestige car with Wallis.

It was a last minute idea of mine to hire a Landrover Defender from Wallis and Son for a week's camping adventure with my two sons of 9 and 12. We went to the New Forest, the Isle of Wight and the Jurassic Coast of Dorset. The vehicle was awesome and flawless and Brian was brilliant, getting us on our way quickly and efficiently. Now we are thinking of doing another similar break in which the car is the star but which one to take this time?!
