Just purchased a new hyundai tucson hybrid, and Ryan who was our salesman was brilliant from start to finish, he had the car ready for us to collect within 24 hours, and was very knowledgeable, nothing seemed to be to much trouble. Would highly recommend dealing with him.

Steve from Hyundai was incredibly friendly, professional and efficient. He made everything very straightforward for me and he went above and beyond to ensure the motability lease went smoothly. He put everything into place such as license checks, insurance etc and this made the process easy and enjoyable. He put me at ease regarding any worries I had and ensured that there were no bumps in the road.

He showed me how everything on my new car worked and was very knowledgable and reassuring, especially as I'd never driven an automatic. His understanding of the car functions was exemplary. I would highly recommend Steve as a car salesman as he is very skilled at his job, he has outstanding customer service skills and would make the most nervous customer feel at ease. Steve is a great asset to your company and I'd recommend your company based on my experience with Steve.

Excellent! Problem with my car on A66 this morning rang here and spoke to Christine on reception, she put me through to Craig the service manager who directed me to their site, took me in to meet the lovely Ilona offered me a lovely cup of coffee, met Mike and lastly met Paul when my car was ready to hit the road again. Amazing service, big shout out to these guys nothing was too much trouble for them!

3 months to physically get my car in for an insurance claim, absolutely ridiculous service, so far it's cost me money to keep the car on the road when I was originally booked in for 20th December, shouldn't have cost me anything. Not expecting much from the actual work, hope they prove me wrong.

I highly recommend them. Not only for the bright, clean, showroom and the choice of cars but especially for the helpful customer friendly staff. I bought my FIAT from them in May 2021 and Ryan Robertson made the procedure go without a hitch and any questions I have had since he has dealt with speedily and with thoroughness. This is definitely the garage for me.

Having a really stressful time with SG Petch Darlington. A car we bought from them has quite a complex fault which we are currently being told isn't covered under the warranty. The car has been back in with them for almost a week now and no courtesy car was offered, meaning we've been left without. Really hoping the problem can be solved so that I can delete this review and replace it with a positive one. *EDIT* 21/02/2022 We were eventually provided with a courtesy car due to a delay in the repairs taking place. SG Petch paid just over half for the repair work as a 'good will gesture'.

We were told this particular repair wasn't covered under the warranty?! I believe we shouldn't have had to pay anything as the issue was one that was there when we bought the car. The fact they paid some of it as a 'good will gesture' suggests to me that they believe there's a good chance this was the case as well. The outcome could have been worse but I still feel like we've been 'done over' which is not a nice feeling.

When to buy a car from a garage across the road got terrible service went across the road met James top class service start from finish over the moon with the car and service wouldn't go anywhere else in the future

Wow amazing service from Anthony Nelson and the Peugeot team. Anthony was very patient with us, we took our time choosing the right family car for us. Anthony was always on hand to offer advice, talk us through our options and nothing was to much trouble for him. Anthony and the team aren't what you'd normally expect from the traditional car sales man.

They show a real interest in your needs, what you can afford and work hard to try to get you the best deal for your money. I would definitely recommend them and will be returning in the future. Thank Anthony for all your help and hard work.

Just brought home my gorgeous Kona. Went for a look around some garages a week ago and unsure what I was looking for, went to a couple of garages and was greeted by the usual salespeople trying to sell me something I don't want and advising me against what I knew I did want. Went to SG Petch Darlington and was greeted by Ryan Robertson, very helpful, polite, friendly and listened to exactly what I wanted and offered advice.

Left us to have a look around and arranged an immediate test drive of a car I liked. Decided that this was the car for me and the rest was a breeze. Quick, easy finance application, then arranged to collect 6 days later. Arrived to collect my new car, again, quick and easy process, paperwork all ready to collect and sign. Free MOT for next year too which is a lovely gesture, and great demo from Ryan showing me all the tech. Would highly recommend SG Petch and will definitely go back there in the future (hopefully my car will last a long time!) Definitely struck gold!

Had my car in for the engine management light on, they changed air filter box and filter the light came back on before i got home, i phoned straight away and was told work shop manager would call me back after waiting two days phoned again told the same still no call so phoned again was told i could book it back in but would have to pay for a diagnostic check again so will find another garage

Had mechanically issues with my purchase less than 4 weeks after buying the car. Contacted them three times before getting a response although the response was a waste of time. Where still going to charge me for the work that needed doing on a car that was less than 4 weeks olds. I really thought they would have gone out their way to help no such luck. Got my money didnt want to know after that.

I took it to a garage who sorted the issues in half a day car back no mor problems. My advice there are much better garages to deal with on the same road as sg petch go there instead.

Brilliant service, great communication and friendly staff, couldn't have wished for better easy and quick for a new car purchase. Mike Jordinson who we delt with is the best we emailed a few times about questions and was very quick to respond Evan out of his normal hours we could get hold of him. the car is fantastic best car we have had yet.

Ordered some parts for my car yesterday, said they would be here at 8.30 today & was. Staff very helpful, deserve 5 stars for customer service.
