Barons used to be really superb on after care and service Things have gone from bad to worse My X3M competition boot decided to not open. I use the car for business so big issue! Phoned the ventral booking after explaining this should be warranty work (the lady on the phone was telling me that I would need to pay 99 for them to even look at it ) she finally dropped thst.
But then advised that 5 weeks was "the earliest it could be looked at " and if I was not happy with that (no, I wasn't) "I could try other dealers" After calling the only personal I know after dealing with Barons for 12 years who understands what service is.and as a family bought 11 new BMWs. I spoke to Laura.and bless her for her professionalism cat booked in 3 days time.
The service is now so bad (every visit since moving has been a disaster) my wife said no to another BM and is awaiting her new car and my car in 12 months will be changed and because of things like the above my last Barons car too All things change.but in Barins case all for the worse

A superb, newly built, flagship BMW dealership in a lovely setting. Lots of fantastic new and approved used cars to look at. Slick contactless check in system complimented by friendly staff. Honestly felt that this place is the epitome of the BMW brand. My waiting MOT was done quickly without any issues. I take my other car there on Monday so let's hope it will be just as good. Visited again - all good!

Can't complain of the car service. I got two safety letters regarding my car which I took to barons Hindhead. During that check they found that one of my indicators light need change incurring in a small charge. When I pick up my car the same day I tried to pay my bill but the gentleman there said that my bill had been paid by my garage. When I challenged it( why would they) he said lucky me although I said I would check next day as by then it was closed.
The next day I checked with my garage that of course hadn't pay the bill, and fairly quickly after I got an sms from barons chasing payment, at that time at was at work with no access to my cards. Then a female phoned me from barons again chasing payment! I explained situation how wasn't my fault and I was at work until the evening when I would pay my bill.
In the evening and indeed over the weekend I tried to pay with the link they gave me and couldn't (payment didn't go through) so on? Monday morning called back by then I got another sms chasing payment! And a female told me that in order to pay I had to call thd accountants firm gave me a 0161 number when I phoned them they told me I couldn't. By then flustered and upset called back the lady who thought I was seeking payment from them! Apologised and pass ne to someone who was very nice but said he will do an "exception" for me as they normally don't take payment on the phone!.
I never in my life had so much trouble trying to pay a bill at the same time making me feel that I don't want to pay. when it wasn't at all my fault transpires that the account link to my car was previous to me owning the car over10 years ago. Very poor treatment very poor costumer management will try another place to take my car next time. It took a lot of my time and upset

Very attentive staff gave me a warm welcome immediately on arrival when I dropped off and collected my car for a service. There was very little difference in the cost when compared to the high street garages but the personal attention and customer service by the Barons / BMW staff was by far the best I have received in a very long time! Thank you

Mike tolson was amazing. Put up with my bank that didn't want to release my money. Went out of his way to meet my requests and made this the best experience so far of buying a car. Especially for my daughter who was more excited about the whole thing than me. Jake is also an asset to the company. Will definitely be buying another car from here!

The car was booked in for replacement of a faulty reversing camera. Communication from the dealership has been abysmal, with phone calls & emails unanswered. The new camera isn't working correctly but as it was impossible to contact the dealership I had to drive back, only for them to suggest they would have availability to sort it out in April. This is clearly unacceptable so under pressure it has now been booked in for next week but with no guarantee of when it can be done. Having driven BMWs for years this will be the last. Extremely disappointing.

Bought a pre owned mini in November, driving home an indicator failed so called and took it back. They didn't have the part, and now over 2 months on the service dept have not called or sorted the problem despite us calling and sending an email. Not good enough and very poor service which has taken away the shine of buying the car, through a lack of customer care.
It doesn't take much to make a call and update as no idea why it would be so hard to sort this problem out. Won't be going back there once this is sorted and if that isn't soon we will go somewhere where they can fix it and send the bill to Barons. Not impressed and very poor for a supposed reputable main dealer. Use with caution.

Very pleased with the service I received. Laura on the service desk was extremely helpful, and kept me up to date through the whole process. Dan who did the repair was very knowledgeable and took the time to talk through the repairs and chat about the car and what to keep an eye on going forward. Would highly recommend Barons Hindhead.

Turn up needing engine oil for our family car urgently and visited during opening hours to get some. The staff on site were polite but sadly didn't even know what oil their own cars needed and even when I showed them their owners manual listing the oil as BMW long life oil they still had no idea. I was told to head to the nearest fuel station as they simply didn't know. Turns out BMW long life oil is actually just 5w 30 that has been around for donkeys years and is one of the most common oils to get hold of. This is yet another thing in a long line of quite embarrassing mishaps for the new garage as we alone have had a multitude of issues over very simple basics such as the oil.
