Unfortunately didn’t feel welcomed, new to viewing cars so was already apprehensive. Would not return, rude. If this is how they treat people wanting to buy a car i cannot imagine what it is like after they have your money! My review has been removed off Autotrader so it seems Autotrader are protecting them.

My experience seems to mirror those of other people online apart from I'm not a female I'm a 40 year old man so have seen my way around PLENTY of garages and dealerships over the years but this has to be one one of the worst I have ever had the experience of visiting, just head the reviews and don't bloody bother. Owner thinks he is gods gift simply put, To keep my words rather parliamentary just go elsewhere.

I have had so many faults this this bag of crap car since day 1! There response is which was basically unless the car dies we don't care... Absolutely CRAP aftersales service stay clear of this Garage unless you want my experience.

Incredibly helpful and not at all pushy. They allowed me to browse at my own pace and responded quickly to any questions I had. I'm thrilled with my car and would definitely recommend them for anyone looking for a quality second-hand vehicle. Thanks so much, Paul!

Worst car ever don't buy from here!

Bought a car in July 2022 2 days after having it I had a flat tyre (I accept this could of been done after buying), but 3 weeks after I nearly crash my car as I can’t change gears (on a 60 road) and needs a new gear box, luckily Lowerdale did this for me SO THEY Should! As I was still under 1 month warranty but this left me without a car for a week. A months later (After warranty time) I drive to set off from work and it won’t start so I try jump it, no luck , have to get towed home and the car needs a new alternator. So another 3 days without a car, now the keys have broken, thought it was a quick job to fix (just the battery) but all inside of the key is rusty and needs replacing!

Overpriced Crap Fiat 500s and customer service is absolutely awful! Avoid. Please head my advice do not go but elsewhere.

I honestly cant thank the guys at lowerdale enough. As a 19 year old who has no idea about cars, I travelled from Nottingham to view the car I wanted and they really made me feel at ease. Amazing customer service, and in a few years when i’m looking to buy another car I will certainly be going back to lowerdale, the journey was so worth it!!

Lowerdale Autos were recommended to me by a friend and small business owner Shaun at Stairfoot MOT Centre who has serviced our family's cars for more than 20 years. I was looking for a car for my mum.

From my first chat with Paul and Ben, to mum collecting the keys these guys have been nothing short of brilliant. They are straight forward, friendly and transparent. I feel comfortable buying from them. They are good people that will go out of their way for you, make you feel at ease and help you with your decision making. We bought a 67 plate kuga for 10'700 we was told the car had just been service.we bought the first week of April 2021 and 18th of January 2022 only 9 months after buying the car without any warning it started making a loud noise and the engine started rocking, we called the AA out rather than continue to drive it and the car was taken to a Ford main dealer they said the krank shaft was warped and the car needed a new engine.

Once we found that it was going to cost 5000 for a new engine fitted I rang lower Dale autos to ask them if they was going to do anything about it, as i had been advised that a car Warrenty should be for 12 month. But they have plain refused to even look at out car. I was also insulted when I was asked if I had checked the oil or put the correct oil in the car.

I could have asked the same question of them considering they had serviced it 9 months before. When we was buying the car they was lovely to talk to and very assuring that any problems with the car don't hesitate to call. So unfortunately this dealer's didn't stick to their word which I find very sad. There will be no word of mouth from us

Might as well wear a wooly hat and a stripey jumper when they sell you a car

I recently purchased my third vehicle from Gary and Paul at Lowerdale Autos. There customer service is fantastic, they are very professional and nothing is too much trouble. From the moment i phoned to enquire about the car to collection, the whole process was a pleasure.

Found a car for my daughter here, it was an hour away but was exactly the right spec and looked well presented. On arrival the car was nothing short of immaculate inside and out. Paul was really busy but looked after me, the family and even the dog really well. Had a minor warranty question since that was dealt with zero quibble, really nice to meet such a customer focused firm these days very impressed, thank you.

Really friendly people who did me a great deal on my Insignia. Had a problem with the air conditioning but this was rectified without any issues. Very trustworthy local dealer ship who I'll be using again if I need a new car. I originally thought Autotrader would be the best place to buy a car from but glad I stayed local, in Barnsley. Highly recommended
