Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) is a finance product that allows you the opportunity to buy a new or a used car. It is similar to a Hire Purchase agreement as you will usually pay an initial deposit, followed by monthly instalments over a term typically between 18 to 48 months. What makes PCP different to Hire Purchase (HP) is that your monthly instalments are paying off the depreciation of the car, and not its entire value, over the course of the term.Then, when you get to the end of your agreement, there is a final, balloon payment that must be made if you want to keep the car.

I've used J Davy Basingstoke for the past 7 years. And cannot fault them. Their customer service is incredible. I have known Andrew there from previous dealerships and have always been not only happy with him, but very comfortable. He pays a great attention to detail, makes sure you're understanding what you're buying and goes above and beyond for the customer. Cannot fault J Davy Basingstoke in anyway.

From beginning to end the staff at J Davy were nothing but helpful and professional there was 1 issue that was easily sorted out with Michael going out of his way to help I was kept informed through the whole process and had all my questions answered without making me feel like an idiot for asking. Good service throughout. It was straightforward to make an appointment for an urgent leakage issue. I was advised as to likely costs and was kept updated with the progress of my service booking. My car was ready for collection on the next business day and the invoice clearly detailed the work carried out. Service desk staff were pleasant, friendly & efficient. A positive customer experience.

I have been going to J Davy for the past 11 years with all good results. This year they did a good job with regard to mechanical issues, service and mot. Was disappointed with lack of communication, I was not informed my car would not be ready for collection due to parts not being received (not their fault). I would have expected a courtesy call to inform me rather than having to find out for myself.

When looking for a new car, we came to J Davy and met Sophie. She was excellent from very first meeting right up to a signing paperwork and handing us the keys from our new car. I purchased a 2015 Vauxual Insignia Ecoflex and it had it's Network Q but when I received the vehicle the steering was out and the tracking needed doing, the carpet trim in the boot was coming away from the edging and the sat nav was not working. Despite looking at the Sat Nav a new harness needed to be ordered from Germany - I am still waiting over two months for the part to arrive.
Just not good enough J Davy for the 10K I have spent purchasing this car. I have no faith in the Network Q guarantee - useless. No customer service offer to put things right.
