Bought a hyundai tuscon of the company on checking paint work it was different which the fixed but on getting my car valeted I found a heel hole in the carpet which was done by the previous owner.for a company I don't think they do enough for the customers car. They inspect them so we should be informed of the problems so we have the choice to go somewhere else or get the problems resolved.wouldn't deal with them again.inspect all parts be careful

Booked in for tyre pressure sensor i was told it would be ready in 1 hour and it was. 10 cheaper than quoted very friendly staff very professional. I will definitely be going back for any work that is required. The part took 7 months to arrive however when it did arrive the job was booked in very quickly. Liked the courtsey call to remind me of the date and time. Thank you Corkhills

Arranged with Katie to test drive a vehicle that is in short supply due to chip shortage and would be not available until early 2023. Before test drive we sat down to discuss methods of payment so explained to Katie that I had found the car I wanted but it was for sale at a garage 60 miles away. She immediately told me I could not have the test drive because I would not be buying a car from Corkills. Honesty obviously doesn't pay I should have kept my mouth shut and listened to the sales patter.

I have dealt with this dealership for several years and indeed over the past few years I have purchased 3 new vehicles from them the latest being the new Tucson Ultimate. As well as being delighted with this new car I have to say that I have always received excellent service both at the point of sale and follow up contacts. In particular I would like to thank Katie Hayes for all the help she has provided leading up to delivery and also in completing the vehicle set up.

Sold my dad's car through CarWow and John from Corkills was the only one who matched my asking price. From accepting the price til the collection, John was very helpful and always available for questions. The process was extremely easy even though I was doing it for my dad. John allowed us to keep the car until we picked up our new car which was really nice. On the day of pickup, John paid the equity straight to my dad's bank account and paid the finance settlement as well. Great experience. Highly recommend!

We are going to buy a new car early in the new year and are just starting to look at options now. Katie was really helpful, gave us all the advice we needed while putting us under no pressure. I have never visited Corkills previously but would happily do business with them in the future based on this visit.

Absolutely fantastic and top-notch service - we loved everything about the process of buying and collecting our new car. Have to highlight Dan's work, who was incredibly helpful and was great to deal with. He made the whole experience super smooth from start to finish - showed us each and every detail of our new car and answered all of our arising questions. Really good experience from start to finish. The showroom was clean and spacious, and the vehicles were well presented. The customer service and quality of contact was very good. We felt valued and informed throughout the process, and there was no pushy sales patter. Just presented the facts and options and allowed us time and space to reach our own decisions. Really loving the Kona electric too!

Just recently purchased a new Polo active, absolutely in LOVE! From start to finish Robbie couldn't do enough for me. From explaining all finance procedures to showing me all the features on the car. Robbie is an asset to the team and have already recommend him to many. The after care is brilliant, great for any enquires I had and checked in after a few days to check I had no teething problems.

Had many run ins with Corkills Wigan Service Department that never seem to get resolved, the only resolution to the issues, AVOID CORKILLS OF WIGAN SERVICE DEPARTMENT.
Problems all started 2 weeks after the first mot I put the car through, VW GOLF, the car passed with NO advisories as expected, it's been serviced every 6 months! 2 weeks later I return from sunny Majorca and having only done 200 miles in the car I put the car through another service, only for them to turn round to me and say the car is dangerous and should not be driven as the brakes were worn, "how did it pass it's MOT I asked" the girl did some enquiries and turned round to me and said "it was two different advisors that looked at it" so either one of them is trying to squeeze yet more money out of me, or someone has passed my cars MOT knowing how many miles a year I do letting me drive a dangerous car! Complained to VW who got the general manager to contact me, 6 months later, no resolution.
The car went in for service again the other day, Having been checked over by two mechanics at ATS and National yesterday who did a safety check (which my car passed with flying colours) I did this because I no longer trust VW. According to The service department the car needed J350 of work doing to it or It wouldn't pass it's MOT, I've rang round and made some enquiries, shock horror, the works J200 cheaper down the road, this is work that according to TWO independent MOT technicians doesn't need doing!
I have now decided that I will no longer be using Corkills of Wigan, and highly suggest others avoid it too, as it they just seem to be in the money making game, rather than good customer service, especially to regular customers' game!! My advice, if you're in the northwest area, Preston VW or Awesome GTI in Irlam! I must say the parts department has always been excellent and really do deserve some praise!
