AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. 25,000 worth of orders messed up. Promised the world, deliver jack s%$. All stock lengths ordered, we hired a crane to offload onto a newbuild site and despite promises up until the night before that all was loaded, only part deliveries were sent. Received apologies and promises they would do better next time. EXACT SAME SITUATION AGAIN, except this time was even worse.
They hadn't even sent half the steel in for production despite assurances that the steel had all BEEN LOADED THE NIGHT BEORE. Shambolic company, no ones knows what is going and no one is held accountable. They need to shut down or be investigated as they are honestly crooks taking advantage of honest, hard working people with their smooth sales talking advisors with ZERO logistical efficiency to back it up.

We needed four plates laser cut with 70mm hole in centre cad drawing supplied and email to say I need to pay them.to proceed so we did.emailed ready for collection.so I sent parcel force to collect 2 occasions to collect no joy.! Then sent Dpd to collect & email sales office to inform them courier's was coming fail on two other occasions. This was unbelievable said to lady I places order with originally.said I need money back after all this said parts been collected but they hadn't they lost them.so 190.00 short to this day. one of the WORST company I've used in 30years.

Great customer services. Great Company. They were the only Company to get back to us, from a few we tried. We appreciate we are in hard times at the present, but life carries in as best we can. Our first order was sorted within 24 hrs, from emailing them diagrams and placing the order. We could not have asked for a better service. Everything was thorough, the drivers were great. Being able to track them was brilliant too, so the day could be planned. We will be using them again. A great big thank you again

Really bad experience; and totally let down by service - lack of communication 10 beams delivered incorrectly over the course of 3 days ( should have arrived in 1 go ) had to cancel a crane and was made to wait 1 week; they took a second payment; saying I would be refunded when they collected the wrongly delivered beams the following day. Well the following day they wouldn't return my phone calls or emails ( had to wait in all day ) no show! - this has now taken over 3 weeks to collect and been over 3 separate occasions ( complete waste of time and fuel ) all the time a risk of theft; and Parkers won't refund until they have collected the entire wrongly delivered material.
So I've paid for something I didn't request; didn't want; and had delays onsite and incurred crane cancellation fees etc There is NO SERVICE! Will not use again - I should have used I S & G; or Rainham Steel or IMN steel; Parkers were cheaper - but cost me twice as much in the end Appalling experience

Over priced, wanted to charge just over 800 for 300 worth of steel, Caneled order and requested refund, a week later still no refund, I called and spoke to accounts, to then be told it has be put on as two orders and they can only refund half the amount until they look into the 2nd order. I was then asked if it was ok to do like that (what choice did i have?) I was then hung up on. so rude:( We ordered with another company for the same materials and was charges 312, thats a whooping 500 difreance, I would steer clear of these at all costs.

The worst purchasing experience in a long time. I phoned twice during the day to check the updated delivery time, then watched the live vehicle tracking as it sailed past the end of our road and kept going! I was initially fobbed off with "drivers hours" despite the driver being only a few minutes away and still over an hour from base (if Parker Steel's schedules are that tight, then I suggest they're setting up to fail or running too hot, but at least be straight with customers when they phone for updates).
I was then met with outright lies of "been trying to contact you" and finally a threat of "we'll still charge you delivery if you cancel". That attitude convinced me that cancelling was the right option. I'd have taken on the battle over the delivery charge (what delivery did they think they were charging me for?!) but fortunately, one of their phone staff was much more helpful than the others and I've now had a full refund; she also said they would investigate and respond to my complaint, but I'm still not holding out any hope.
After cancelling, I read other reviews on Parkers, tried one of the other suppliers mentioned (Kloeckners in Exeter) and they were outstanding - they did everything they said they'd do, were considerably cheaper, a pleasure to deal with when ordering, and really friendly and helpful delivery.

An absolutely horrific experience! Attempted to deliver my order twice. First time they loaded it on a lorry so large it couldn't fit down the street! The second time/day they never showed up! No call to say they were not going to deliver either! They caused significant delays and cost to our project. Had to cancel our concrete and lost our brick layer and nearly our builder. Just horrific! STAY CLEAR OF THEM! Pay a little more but at least you'll get a better experience.

Absolutely disgusting service. In 7 years they've never delivered an order in full, on time or correct. No managers ever contact me, won't accept visits. Cost me conservatively 300,000 in lost business. Try Gratnells for Tube Laser cutting instead, they've saved me. Use Total Jobs Contracts (Manston) for flat laser cutting.
