My Seat Leon developed a fault recently. The car is still under warranty so I contacted the dealership I bought it from and they couldn't have been any less helpful. After searching online for other Seat garages I took a chance on W Livingstone. I'm glad I did. They were absolutely amazing, resolved the fault without any problems and were polite, helpful and professional at all times. All garages should be like this.

Was happy in my last review about the car being sold to my son and the sales person Derek who sold us the car this is when it went down hill from there we bought the car in December 2020 first we put it through a MOT after only 5 months with two advisory's then it had a water leak in October when speaking to the work shop manager Sandy Cochran (how he reached 40 years with the company I do not know!) he did everything in his power to walk away from the car his boss even tried to offer a compromise but he was having none of it we eventually got a really good garage to fix it Peacocks garage in Paisley highly recommend them and they fixed it be careful with warranty and especially Sandy Cochran he needs some customer service lessons

I recently purchased an almost new Seat Mii Electric from W Livingstone through the Heycar website. I was a bit nervous about buying a car online from a dealership 400 miles away but the whole experience was excellent and the best we have ever had when buying a car. Everyone I spoke to at W Livingstone was great to deal with and quick to answer and respond. Viv Lipton who handled the sale was very helpful, reassuring and professional - as was Gary whose assistance was invaluable when my bank queried me paying for such a long distance purchase!
Communication was brilliant with several videos of the car and updates on how the car was to be delivered. The transport company they used was also excellent. I am delighted with both the car and the service I received from W Livingstone. I only wish they were our local garage!

We went to have a look at some models, they didn't have the ones we wanted to look at, although, they were showing as in-stock online on the Seat Used website. The sales representative was very friendly and not pushy at all but they were new to the brand and didn't quite know as much as I'd have hoped. I'm sure that will come though.

Awful service from this garage. Typical main dealer I am sorry to say. My Seat Leon had a flashing glow plug light, loss of power, limp home mode activated. Owner's manual says take to dealer. When calling to book this in I was told they had no interest in claiming via the warranty company the car was covered by, I would have to pay up front and try to be reimbursed (the warranty company expressly do not allow this). 80 charge I had to agree to for a "diagnostic fee" before they would agree to book the car in.
This was repeated many times to me. Reluctantly I booked it in anyway and agreed. Near the end of the day I was told the car had no faults detected and no fault codes stored in the ECU. I did question why this fault and safety mode being activated would not log a fault code but was assured it didn't and no faults were found. "Gremlins in the system" was the suggestion. Fine, I paid 80 for nothing but to waste my own time.
Next day and the same flashing warning light again, and again limp home mode. Re-booked, repeat step one. I again got a phone call and was told that after inspection, no faults were found, no fault codes are stores and they even consulted with Seat Technical UK I was told, who were also at a loss. They then had the cheek to tell me they would only charge half the "diagnostic fee" this time for once again failing to diagnose anything.
I refused to pay, they said fine and waived this fee for nothing. This fault continued to happen intermittently. I took the car to my local, independent garage who hooked up their OBDII reader and showed me the fault code in seconds. Faulty oil pressure switch. 9 part. Fault code stored and he agreed there is no way such an error would not store in ECU. Typical main dealer rip-off service. Not a real mechanic in the place. Do not waste your time of money.

I must give a big thank you to Viv Lipton (sales executive) and all the staff at W Livingstone Ltd, Uddingston for a fantastic experience and help while choosing my new car (seat alhambra). All the staff are very helpful and friendly and would therefore highly recommend this car company. I have had my car just over 3 months now and so far I've had the perfect experience with my car and again would highly recommend seat cars. I can't rate W Livingstone Ltd and Seat highly enough. Thank you and looking forward to a long relationship with both.
