Motorpoint Car Supermarket was founded in 1998 at the beginning of the car supermarket boom. From day one, the mission was to change the way that the British public bought their cars by importing vehicles from abroad as well as selling new and nearly new UK sourced vehicles. This meant offering savings of as much as 50% across the full range of stock. British car buyers have always paid more for their cars than the rest of Europe.

Very good experience with buying my car with no hassle at all. Josh was the guy who sold me my car and he handled all the paperwork from buying the car, taxing it and arranging 3 days of insurance for the car. I would say from start to finish I was in and out in 2 hrs. anyone going to buy a car there should bring with them there licence.passport if they don't have a photo licence. national insurance number. to get through the necessary checks. and finally they have a really nice selection of cars.

Bought our new Jag from Motorpoint Maidstone, from the start to finish Nicollet Adams was amazing. Warm, welcoming feel to the showroom, the buying process was easy from the beginning, all staff were friendly and the management were supportive. Great atmosphere, highly recommend and my husband loved the Scalextric!

After purchasing a car in 2019 at just 6 months old we went on to sell the car 2 years later due to our growing family. It was as this point we were advised the car had clearly been involved in an accident and been repaired extremely poorly. After speaking with Motorpoint I was advised to get an independent report (at a cost of 100 to us) and they. would come to a resolution.

Full report was submitted within the week and months later after going through Motorpoint, and Alternative Dispute Resolutions we are no further on, with a car we have had to sell at a loss of 1000's to us. Extremely disappointed to read of many in the same situation as us. We will certainly never go near Motorpoint again and will warn everyone possible exactly the same! It seems so wrong that this company are doing this time and time again and getting off with it. If I could give them a minus score out of 5 I absolutely would.

Gurjit and the team were amazing offering in my opinion better customer service than main dealers i have dealt with over the last ten years. nothing was too much trouble. car was priced well and condition was excellent. thank you all for your help in getting me into my gti+

Ordered a car online, had it delivered to local showroom for collection. Upon inspection the paintwork was found to be in very poor condition. Car completely covered in light scratches/swirl marks. Not the biggest issue but not expected on a 70 plate bmw with only a couple of thousand miles on the clock. Opening the boot could immediately smell a. strong chemical/oil type smell, could clearly see a greasy residue in the corner. Turned out to be an attempt to clean body filler stains from carpet and trim. Removed the trim and could see a lot of body filler where car has had a significant repair. Motorpoint simply said all our cars are hpi checked.

Just because a car isn't on the register doesn't mean it hasn't been damaged. The fact that they have tried to clean and cover up the residue from repair tells me they knew it was damaged. Would never trust these guys again. Have told them if I see the car back up for sale I will report them to trading standards as they are knowingly trying to sell a previously damaged car.

Make cars covid secure and prep them to advertised standards! Once issue are raised acknowledge the mistake and rectify at the very first time of asking. Your stock is nothing but sitting ducks without repeat customers spending their hard earned money. Get your customer service in order too!

Sold a vehicle that had been damaged & repaired (unrecorded)! Customer service is absolutely terrible. Trading standards now involved.

Absolutely disgusting service and treatment. I sourced a car on their website that I wanted to test drive with the intention to purchase. Paid them a refundable 100 to get the car shipped from London to Sheffield to view. Then waited almost a week for the car to be delivered to the Sheffield branch. The day that the car was available to view (I. was booked in for a viewing at 6pm) I checked online with the DVLA for the car history.

I discovered that it had a recall with BMW. I rang up Motorpoint in the morning to check if this had been resolved and it hadn't. I was given two options, take the car and get it resolved myself or delay the purchase and they would sort the issue. I informed.

My dad's car wouldn't start yesterday morning, he rang Motorpoint who said they'd contact the recovery people. 2 days later, no-one's been out, recovery number doesn't answer and Motorpoint say not their problem. Absolutely disgusted with Motorpoint Waltham Abbey. He paid a massive amount of money for this service and they say the contract isn't to do with them

Worst experience ever for a car sales place. arrived with a 2pm appointment, made me sit for 30 mins before anyone came to talk to me. I arrived to pick up a car and drop my part exchange off. In the end i ended up leaving in my car and not taking the new car. They already agreed a price for my car, then when it came to the end of 3 hours taking details and checking cars, they then turned round and refused to pay the agreed price for my car, general manager was very arrogant, narrow minded and rude.

Please avoid this place, especially if you are part x'ing your car there. sales guy did seem nice hence the 1 star, every thing else about the place and the process in horrible. please please avoid and spend your hard earned cash else where.
