Very good service received from both Tony and Tom at Bristol Motor Company. Had the car I'd been looking for (Honda Civic EX) in very good condition. A few minor issues with the car at first but Tony and Tom have both gone above and beyond to help resolve the issues. Would definitely recommend them if you are after a high quality low mileage used Honda.

It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with the Bristol Motor Company. They made part exchanging my car and buying one from them extremely easy. I called them re a car they had for sale and secured this with a deposit over the phone. They promised me I could have my deposit back if the car was not as described but as it was I went ahead with the purchase once I got there.

The car had private number plates which needed to be changed over to normal plates. They dealt with everything and even sent me new plates through the post once the new registration was complete. They were brilliant, can't fault them and would certainly travel the 2 hours from where I live to do business with them again. Well done guys for making it such a simple process - was a really enjoyable experience.

Excellent service, excellent car. Recently purchased a Honda Legend from BMC. As I was travelling over four hours to get there, I didn't want any nasty surprises, so asked Tom to be completely honest and take some 'warts and all' photos, which he happily did. There was an issue with flaking paint on the front grille, which he paid to have repaired.

Even paid to have the timing belt replaced before sale. Getting to the new location involved a lengthy cab ride from Bristol, for which Tom reimbursed me, no problem. Really can't fault the service I got, from the response to my initial email to picking up the car. An easy, smooth and satisfying experience!

I bought a BMW 330ci convertible a year ago. I travelled all the way from Essex. I've had nothing but problems with it, it has cost me a arm and a leg to get repaired. The service received from Tom was a absolute joke he told me nothing but lies. He even sold me a dodgy warranty that was good for nothing. The wouldn't look at the car to diagnose anything even though the booklet said they had there own garages clearly didn't! once I payed out to get the problems diagnosed they didn't cover it complete waste of 200 for warranty and 6000 for a car I ended up selling for 3500 with all the problems after I must of spent 1800 getting it fixed and to get no help from Bristol motors!

We've just bought a Toyota from BMC, and we found them not just professional, but easy to deal with: - Communication was replied to very quickly and covered what we needed to know. - Reasonable offers and suggestions were met with acceptance or a reasonable counter-offer. There's always a bit of give and take when part-exchanging one used car for another, and this process went as painlessly as we could have hoped. - All of the guys working there were invariably patient, friendly and polite, and I felt completely comfortable negotiating on the part-exchange, warranty, etc. - there was no hard sell. - As soon as the deal was concluded in principle, the car was removed from sale and we concluded the remaining details without any pressure. Given the amount of money at stake, buying a car is inevitably a little bit stressful, but we found the experience to be a lot better than I expected.

We were really pleased with our experience of the Bristol Motor Company. My husband and I were looking for a car with less mileage than our existing Focus and I had Hondas in the past. We spoke to Tony a couple of times prior to our visit as we had a bit of a journey from Worcester to go down to see the various Civics they had in stock and he was very friendly on the telephone and very informative.

When we got there, we were not hassled and it was very relaxed and Tony allowed us to wander around and look at each of the cars at our leisure. He handed us the keys to look inside the vehicles we wanted to look at more closely and was happy again to leave us to do so at our leisure rather than hassling us to buy something there and then if we were not ready to.

We found the car we wanted and were given a fair price in part exchange for our Focus. We are really pleased with the car and the service we were given. We were very impressed by the 2 year warranty as standard which gave us piece of mind particularly as we decided to buy within a couple of hours of getting there. We appreciate that not everyone will have a good experience with every company you deal with and it is easy to leave a bad review and forget to leave a good review when you are pleased but we are pleased and we would highly recommend this company.

We were mis-sold a car that had even had an MOT, the same day we collect the car we experience severe and dangerous overheating problems. Completely unsatisfactory, they then fail to rectify the problem several times, resulting in a dangerous situation as there was a complete engine failure on the motorway. The dealership have since neglected any responsibility, we have not experienced any satisfactory customer care or consideration and they still refuse to refund us, in which we are fully entitled.

Wouldn't dream of recommending this dealership, they have no consideration and are seemingly unaware of the condition of any of their vehicles. We know this as the car that they bought off us for scrap value of 100 that we were told would be for scrap, was then on their forecourt and sold for a few hundred. If they had inspected the car they would have known it was in poor condition and should only have been scrapped, it was also previously found to be sold to us by a rogue trader and the car was a write off.

So we know that this dealership sell cars that are in poor condition and neglect to fully inspect them. Since, the dealership now insist on charging us 200 so that we can take the car back in a road worthy condition. There reason is that they consider that this review is a "nasty comment" and not a fair and honest review by an upset customer. On the phone they have been very aggressive, augmentative and defence, even though I have simply stated that I am upset with both the car and customer service, and have been fully within my rights to be refunded or the car be completely fixed as it was initially sold to me in a dangerous condition.

As a customer it is fair to write a review such as this, not out of spite, but simply to share opinions about products and services. In this case, I would hate to see someone else fall under the same circumstances as we have found ourselves in. In my opinion the dealership have not maintained any reputation and at the end of the day they sold me a car that within a month could have easily killed me on the motorway.

I feel like hitting my head on a brick wall because it seems nobody gets that. There is no chance that I will be paying them any more money and the case is strongly in my favour. If anybody else has any concerns about the garage or my situation then please feel free to contact me.

I bought a car from Bristol Motor Co. 6 weeks ago. Fantastic car (Honda Accord Tourer). Well worth the round trip of 850 miles to collect. Ive had one slight problem and Tom was fantastic about getting it repaired locally for me which saved me the same 850 mile round trip.

I have had 2 cars from this company, both of which have been excellent. They appear to be very professional and have been very helpful and polite at all times. I had a couple of minor problems with my last car which were rectified promptly and without fuss. I would have no hesitation in buying another vehicle or in recommending them to others. Very satisfied customer!

I asked Tom at Bristol Motors to look out for a Turbo Diesel VM Golf for me as he didn't have anything suitable in stock. A couple of weeks later Tom called me as he'd found a TD Golf in my price range. Car was as described and the test drive went well. Bristol Motors took my Skoda in part exchange at a very fair price. I found the whole experience friendly, straightforward and lacking any pressure to buy. I've had the car for 9 months and had not problems with it at all. I would certainly use Bristol Motors again and have recommended them to friends.
