I purchased a used 2014 ford fiesta on september 16, 2019 from this dealer, and it had 17000 miles. the last service was carried out on 1 September 2019. on 19 April 2021 I went to the same dealer. the miles were 23,000. so the car had only driven 6,000 miles. from the dealer they tell me that the front discs of the car were almost totally worn and the rear suspension springs to be changed, all for a total of 1200 pounds. the service has been performed, but I wonder, is it possible that a car of only 26,000 miles would already have to change the brake discs and suspension springs?
I contacted gates of bishops support and was simply told that those are wear parts of the machine and it is normal. I replied that it seemed strange to me having only carried out the service for one year, all those parts had to be changed since it is not the first machine I use. I have not received any more response from customer service. a subcompact car brake disc normally needs to be changed between 50,000 and 60,000 miles. I felt cheated and poorly protected

Usually use Gates of Harlow for warranty repairs in my approved used fiesta, who I cannot fault. However, had to use stortford for the first time today due to overbooking at Harlow. Firstly, I was told about a "57 diagnostics charge" that Harlow have told me is covered by the warranty. Then they called me multiple times, hanging up just before I picked up forcing me to call them back (assuming so they don't pay for the call).
They told me they couldn't diagnose the issue after having the car all day and couldn't get the car to fault (which I managed to do 2 minutes after leaving the service centre) and to top it off lost my key which I had to wait around for afterwards. Not the best for a first dealership experience.
