These guys show the big companies how it should be done, levels of customer service the big group owned places talk about in those posh club houses but never achieve. Well done to all, great service fantastic value for money and I didn't once feel like I'd paid to be smiled at. I'd recommend you consider one of the electric cars they have for sale as I took one out and was blown away by how they drive, these things are the future.

Spent 7,000 buying a car from these lot only to end up stressed and forking out more money to fix it. Within 3 weeks of buying the car, the engine light started flashing and the car was misfiring. I took the car to my local garage and was quoted 2,800 to get it fixed (Garage advised changing every possible element that can cause the issue e.g coils, spark plugs, injectors, thermostats and nitrogen oxide sensor). Called Adamson Motors to let them know how unhappy I was as I've paid 7k for a car with a misfire. Shane apologised and advised I get the car towed back to them and they'll repair it themselves. sounds fair right?
So that's exactly what I did. Little did I know they would have the car for 6 and half weeks! Almost double the time I was even driving the car myself! In those 6.5 weeks there wasn't much communication and very little updates were provided. I texted Shane multiple times and he was very selective with his replies. Before I bought the car he would answer all my questions, oh how things change once they have your money.
In those 6.5 weeks they only ended up changing a few things outlined by the first garage and yet it still took them way over a month to get the work completed. Common sense would tell you to check all components thoroughly and replace everything to ensure the car is running perfectly. Shane eventually called me and advised me the car is now fully fixed and ready to collect on Friday.
Which was perfect as I urgently needed the car the following Monday. I cancelled my plans and travelled back down to Kent on Friday as agreed which ended up taking me 2.5 hours, I collected the car and started driving it home. within a 1/3 of my journey home (20miles) the engine light started flashing and the car started to misfiring again. I couldn't believe it as they've told me "the cars fixed and is running perfectly".
I literally had to pull over on the hard shoulder as the cars engine was shaking violently. Called Shane back up once I got home and told him the car isn't fixed which he replied "maybe its the coils but it shouldn't be". So you're telling me after 6.5 weeks of having the car you didn't even fix it? What a complete waste of my time. As I needed the car urgently for the following Monday, I took it to a german specialist garage the following day (Saturday) who advised me that the coil pack is the issue. Seeing as that was 1 of the 2 only elements that hasn't be done, I decided to go ahead.
I replaced the coil pack from my own pocket which I hoped I could then later claim from the Adamson Motors as its obviously not fair I should have to pay out for a problem, especially bearing in mind they had the car for 6.5 weeks. However, Adamson motors refuses to reimburse me the 300 I spent on replacing the coils as it was "unauthorised" and they didn't approve it before hand.
This is despite them knowing the coils was actually the thing that fixed the car for good. So I've essentially paid 7k for a car, had it for 3 weeks and had issues, got it towed back to them for repair which took 6 and half weeks, got the car back to find out they didn't even fix the issue, managed to repair it myself for 300 and now they won't reimburse me the 300? lol that says it all.
These guys clearly do not view things from the customers side at all, all they care about is making the most profit they can off each vehicle they sell. Not a good business mindset at all. Put the money to one side this whole process has been extremely stressful and unpleasant. I would stay clear of this company. To think my uncle was originally thinking about buying a car off these guys for my aunt in a couple of months, that certainly won't be happening now.
