Avoid at all costs. I had given Arnold Clark (Fairbairns) plenty time to resolve an issue with me, but they decided to wash their hands of the issue, and kept my money which should have been refunded. I was given poor, incorrect information whilst my car was in for a service. The advisor "clearly" stated, without hesitation at her desk, that if I parted with my 80, a diagnostic update, would update my iDrive to current spec (i e show Album covers).
I paid this without hesitation on her advice, only to find that the update did nothing. After initial calls, the advisor initially said "I didn't say that", making me, the paying customer out to be a liar, which more than angered me. After nunerous calls/ emails to their hierarchy, their final response was "Mr Clarke, as nobody else was privvy to the conversation, we are siding with out staff member.
You will not receive 80". This is fine. This shows that they will lie, take monies from customers that they are NOT entitled to, and not follow TCF guidelines. I am happy to share all my emails/ correspondance through other channels, to warn folk of my disgusting experience. I don't normally leave reviews, but this had to be shared, as you, Arnold Clark / Harry Fairbairns show that you don't put a paying customer first, and admit your mistakes. UPDATE after they asked me to call, here was their POOR response: "Thank you for contacting Customer Services.
Please see the below attached email. As advised we have issued our final response on this matter, if you remain unhappy with our response we would advise that you contact a third party of your choosing for further guidance. If they choose to contact us we will be happy to respond." They ask a customer to call if not happy, so that other people reading reviews think that they wish to help, then pap you off again. AVOID

One star is a star too many. Customer service was awful. Mechanics were incompetent. 2 days (800) of diagnositics for something AA diagnosed in 10 minutes. Asked for detailed reports and was sent 2 photos by mechanic Scott. Extended warranty means nothing as they find a way to get out of it. Have a servicing plan with Arnold Clark but told we'd be charged 800 for service as it's not covered at this branch or given 100 off. Picked up my car with fuel in the red when it went in with half a tank of petrol so clearly someone has been running around in my car. Asked them to fix tyre valve too which wasn't done.
Avoid at all costs! Stick with Audi or Merc! Specifically avoid BMW Hybrid, comes with a backlog of known problems, just google it! Would highly recommend Mercedes in Hamilton as an alternative.so much more helpful!

This is the place to buy your car. Fabulous service and amazing staff. Jamie, was efficient, trustworthy, his communication was brilliant and kept us informed all the way through buying the car. No hard sales techniques, listened to what it is that you require and delivered a hundred percent. We would buy a car from here again and really if you are looking for a car, check it out.

Ordered a car here in August 2021. Sales and ordering process was outstanding. No pressure and Calum and Grant took time to answer a multitude of questions from technical questions about the car to detailed questions about financing. I asked for lots of different quotes for different options and nothing was too much trouble. The pandemic and chip shortage caused massive delays in delivery which meant I had to wait 8 months for the car.
Throughout the period Calum went above and beyond in the service offered. Kept us upt to date with the situation throughout, advised on options, discussed trade-in issues and lots more. All staff we were in contact with in branch were friendly and welcoming. Even when my daughter spilled hot chocolate all over the floor they couldn't have been more helpful Collection process went very smoothly too. Forms were signed online in advance so Limited paperwork to complete and then a detailed walk through of how to operate some of the bells and whistles. Can't think of anything that could be improved. Couldn't be happier with the service we received.

First time ordering a car from Harry Fairbairn and have to say I most likely will be back to order again once it's time to change car. Whole process from ordering to collection was excellent and my sales advisor James Clark was excellent through the whole process. Car had a few minor marks and scrapes and a kerbed alloy which were all fixed before collection as a courtesy, a level of service I've not experienced with other Arnold Clark branches I've previously bought from. Any questions were promptly answered by James and the process from beginning to end was worthy of 5 stars.

Bought an M4 from this dealer about a month ago and had nothing but issues. To be fair my advisor Brian was the only pleasant part of the experience. Firstly I had to spend 500 to make the car safe as I had been given 2 near enough completely bald tyres, the car was downright dangerous. Then after only 3 weeks tyre pressure sensor has failed. I'm informed it costs 160 to even look at it despite being under warranty. Turns out the warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on. For spending 45k the service has been abysmal. Wish I had just kept my Mercedes, avoid BMW!

Been buying genuine bmw parts from here for a while now and the customer service I receive from Lee Lawson and the rest of the parts department is faultless. Always quick to respond to my emails, always next day delivery, always kept informed of when parts have been dispatched. Prices are always clear and transparent. Advice i get from these guys is priceless.
Always given plenty of options to save money where I can without even asking for it. Literally the best customer service you can get. I'm based in London and would rather use this dealership than the ones in London.

My experience from ordering to collection was great! I had a lot of questions and Robbie was very informative and pleasant to deal with. The information and prices were transparent and at no point did I experience sales pressure. I would definitely recommend Harry Fairbairn and Robbie is an asset to that branch!

Picked up my brand new 3 series tonight, the whole buying experience couldn't have been better, was exciting from start to finish and professional to the letter. Grant Airns has been a credit to his branch and helped me buy my brand new dream car without having to wait till the end of the year! Was greeted by many of the management staff Andrew, Guy and Michelle were all extremely engaging and interested in my experience genuinely and not just following a process it's obvious they run a professional business with customer satisfaction at its core.
Finally the whole experience was perfect from the ease of ordering, collecting and the valet was spot on the whole staff have been on point. If you are considering or know you want to buy a BMW Harry Fairbairn is a no brainer I guarantee you will enjoy the service!

This is the 3rd BMW I have purchased from Harry Fairbairn in Giffnock. The service I have received on each occasion has been outstanding. Fair trade in prices and very easily concluded deals. There is nothing worse than having to spend hours in a dealership trying to secure a deal. On each occasion my initial agreement is concluded within an hour and the follow up contact to finalise is extremely smooth.
On each occasion I have dealt with David Segal who has always found me the car I'm looking for. David is extremely professional in all aspects of the sale and purchase process, a real pleasure to deal with. Extremely happy once again with this dealership. This is the best BMW dealer I have every dealt with. I am not local to them but buy all my parts for my car and got my brake fluid changed whilst i was in the area once. I think other BMW dealers should take a page from these guys books. I usually deal with Lee and Tony from parts department and i can say hand on heart the best customer service I received. They cant do enough for you and best of it they are really well priced.
